I designed Clui CC as a lighter interaction layer for Claude Code. The idea was to make AI support feel faster and more present in day-to-day work through an always-on-top interface, quick summon behavior, and an expandable chat that stays out of the way until needed.

A compact always-on-top entry point designed for quick summon, fast actions, reduced task switching and text density.

Chat expands when depth is needed, with rich rendering for text, images, and structure.

I built CLUI for myself, as a design experiment, but also as a way to experience Claude Code as an immediate, primary agent and assistant. By solving my own pain points, the project seems to have resonated with others too.
